ABOUT ME

Tracey Horan

My why

I started this company for a simple reason - I believe people of all ages should live fully and not be held back by bodies that no longer perform the way we want.  In short, we should thrive!  I watched my parents work hard their whole lives.  They talked about what they would do in retirement but when they finally reached that milestone they no longer had the strength, mobility or stamina to do everything they'd dreamed about.

How did I get started?  Still scarred from always being the last kid picked in gym class, I didn't really embrace fitness until I turned 30 and began looking at my own future.  After trying dozens of options, I finally found activities that I love.  More importantly, I loved the results - I felt great, moved more easily, had more energy and slept better.  For over 10 years I moonlighted in fitness while holding down an office job.  Now I teach group fitness and train full time and couldn't be happier.

 

My certifications:  I am fully certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), multiple Les Mills programs, SoulBody Restore and recently completed Symmetry AlignSmart™  certification.

Who I've worked with.  My clients span multiple ages from 16-78, men and women.  Clients' challenges have included new to exercise, upcoming knee surgery, back pain, balance issues, hip replacement and spinal fusion (my own). 

​

What do you get from me?  First, my commitment to see you succeed.  Second, a program that is customized to your goals, that meets you where you're at.  Guidance and support to meet your goals.  And finally, education on how to safely perform the exercises.

I've been working with Tracey for over 2 years now.  My goal was to become stronger but I had never lifted weights before and was uncertain how to begin or not get injured.  I also fou d it boring, and had many excuses to not get started. Tracey coached me through the basics with a focus on safety and proper technique.  I am still surprised at how strong I am and my bone density scan confirms it. Tracey makes the work varied, progressive and fun. My husband and I enjoy hiking, kayaking and traveling and I feel stronger than I have ever been. I am meeting my goal!
